Who designed the Racket?
The Curvstar racket was designed by a former pro tennis player with the help of engineers and sports scientists. Pulling from years of professional experience, they set out to create a racket that solved several of the problems that plagued “modern” tennis rackets. After years of trial and error, they finally designed a racket that not only received a certified design patent, but was approved by the International Tennis Federation for league play. Why is the curved shape better?
When it comes to the future, it’s all about the curve! Curvstar’s patented curved frame not only helps to reduce stress on the wrist, elbow and shoulder, it also allows for a better serve, slice and volley. After years of working with sports scientists and designers, the Curvstar developers created a design that is meant to match the shape and angle of a person’s hand. This results in a more natural racket playing position, and a racket that simply feels effortless. Learn more HERE.
Is the racket approved for official league play?
Yes! We are very excited to say that the Curvstar racket went through to rigorous testing process, and was approved by the International Tennis Federation for league play. This means that the racket is approved for all sanctioned league tournaments, and in fact has already been used to win several international events in 2014. Will it eliminate the chance of tennis related injuries?
While we can’t say Curvstar’s rackets will outright eliminate tennis injuries, we can say the ergonomic frame is designed to reduce the chance of common injuries such as tennis elbow. This is because Curvstar’s rackets are designed to work with your body, and reduce the strain put on joints like the wrist, elbow and shoulder. By reducing vibration and strain, you will not only feel better, but you’ll be able to play longer. To learn more about the racket you can click HERE.
Can I try the racket before I buy it?
Yes! We are so convinced that you’ll fall in love with our rackets that we are willing to let you try one before you buy it. For only the cost to ship it, you can test drive the new Curvstar racket for 14 days. Play as much as you like within that time-frame, and then send it back when you’re done. Once we get the racket back, we’ll send you a special coupon code that you can put towards purchasing your very own brand new Curvstar racket. Learn more HERE.
How do you string the EPIC racket?
You might wonder if the stringing requires special equipment, but that is not the case. The Curvstar racket fits in a standard stringing machine and the pattern is very similar to a traditional racket. The grip will just “stick out to the side” of the machine. We will be happy to share more details if you require specific instructions.
